A cost effective solution is our HR Department on Call™ program to reduce this burden by letting us help you keep compliant. We provide on-site or virtual HR assistance to small and growing businesses and non-profit organizations. We can build HR processes from the ground up, or refine existing informal, casual HR policies and procedures to be in compliance with the current employment laws. We are a Designated Agent in Arizona for E-Verify compliance with the Legal Arizona Workers Act.
HR issues arise sporadically – often enough to require professional help, but not often enough to justify a full-time HR director. This is where our HR Help Desk™ comes in. For an annual fee, owners and managers of small businesses can call or e-mail our HR professionals with questions as they arise and get the prompt answers they need.
HR Help Desk™ participation allows us to answer questions about:

Help Desk members receive reminders and updates to employment law, such as new posting requirements and recommended policy changes.

Margaret Jacoby, President and Principal Consultant of MJMS, has more than 25 years of Human Resources and professional management experience in a variety of industries. She has designed human resources infrastructure and implemented systems to ensure compliance with state and federal employment laws. She has directed high quality human resources functions for small and emerging businesses, and served as an external consultant to a wide range of diverse organizations, including non-profits.
Ms. Jacoby has earned the nationally-recognized certification of Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) from the HR Certification Institute, Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).
